Episode 8 will deal with travel, and walking, and mounts, and walking... It should be out in the next Blabber Box in a few days and I'll post a link here when it does.
That leaves only four more episodes left in what I'm either going to call "season 1" or the "Len series." Episode 12 will end this story arc, and I'll probably take a short break after that. As long as Nexon wants shorts, I'll be willing to make them, but I may change things up with new stories, characters, or a completely new cartoon. Not really thinking about it just yet.
If you were to speak from an honest unknowing perspective, would you say that the yellow-haired girl, or "Len" I believe her name was will ever replace that twig?

I'm gonna be honest, I wanted to tell the "what happened" story - but then realized that I wanted this to be a story about Len. There will be a small "I can't believe we were ever friends..." when Michea and Jackson square off at the end, but don't expect too much more.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I was going to upgrade Len's stick, but now I think it will make a better joke in the end battle, "You plan on defeating me with a twig?!"
I'll also give away the Jackson, Black Mage joke. He's not talking to him. Think "hostile takeover." =)

ReplyDeleteMichea, Amara, & Chance are real life people. If they were asleep (offline basically) will Len take that opportunity to level up and grow stronger? or in Sparky's case, grow larger? (and maybe breath green fire, haha).

ReplyDeleteThere are also snowy-looking places in the world of Maple Story that the lovable characters could venture too. If you are familiar with the island "Rein" , that's a perfect place, which is also a perfect place an Aran could make a cameo (their job tutorial starts at that place).
I'm sure Nexon wouldn't be against that, correct?

Gom - To be honest, you'll notice that I never really mention their levels, or leveling up. I'm going to make mention that the others are away when Len realizes that she is an NPC, but I have no plans on replacing the stick. There may also be some winter stuff as a mini-episode. No promises though.
Ethan - I'll pass the word, but I'm afraid my connections are not as glamorous as it sounds. I wish you luck and know that it's not because Nexon doesn't care, they literally get thousands of messages a day and it takes a long time to work through them.

My parents supporting me to.What can I do to get Nexon's attention? I keep trying I am only 13. If I do get my account restored to 11/18/11 9:00Am Im gonna jump for joy and quit Maplestory. At least it wouldnt be so bad. I watched your video,"All that I know" and it made me rethink my past. Ive been playing Maplestory ever since I was 7 and being hacked in this game means a lot to me. Im not as good as basketball as I should be and Im not tall. But what I do know is that Im going to change that when I get my account restored. Im going to give it to my brother. My account had over 2b worth of equips and spectrum goggles so it meant a lot to me. The hacker even took all of my medals and event items so thats why I hope Nexon can fufill my special request. Thanks for reading Brian. And I watch all of your reviews all the time. I even watched the one about making videos and you reviewing a Dinosaur game called the Passenger or something.

ReplyDeleteIt seems everyone has gotten hyped up about the new episode.
At first, from what I can understand from your past talks, I thought that you implied you would end it once and for all at episode 12 of this season, but I guess I was wrong.
That doesn't mean it's a bad thing, either.
To me, your series is a great eye-opener for me. It releases the barrier between maplestory's players and non-players. Before, I was rather ignorant and got easily motivated to play the game because of your series... Now, I truly understand...
When I was a Maplestory addict, I was kept inside my comfort zone, only staying at home and isolated from all my friends. When i quit and found another less addictive, and more fun game, I'm now only a few steps away from achieving my first success in life. You have my thanks for that.
Anyway, should you ever go on with your work, I think it had best be a continuation of this series. I'm sure all your fans would like that, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for all of us =)

ReplyDeleteSeems more and more people find your blogspot, Brian. Personally I've been waiting since july for a continuation of the series. It's alright though. I love every moment of your webseries. I never really talked about my maplestory experiences. I have been hacked as well. Being european and all, makes it nearly impossible to get back on US maplestory. I know they get a lot of mails from players. I had played for years and I got a reply: Just wait, we get a lot of mails. I waited 2 years and no reply at all. It's sad, but I moved on. I do have an account and the only reason I sometimes log on maplestory is because of the friendships I've built over time. it's always nice to see you inspired a lot of people. Keep up the good work,
